The SDGs were developed based on the motto “No one will be left behind” and represent an ambitious global vision structured around five crucial pillars for the sustainable development of the planet and all humanity:

.People: End poverty and hunger, ensure that everyone is treated with dignity and equality and promote in a healthy environment;

.End all forms of malnutrition

.Double the agricultural productivity and the incomes of small-scale food producers

.Ensure sustainable food production systems and implement resilient agricultural practices

.Maintain genetic diversity of seeds and cultivated plants

.Substantially increase water use efficiency

.Double the global rate of improvement for energy efficiency

.Improve economic productivity through diversification, technological modernization and innovation

.Decrease the use of global resources to meet better consumption and production efficiency

.Decouple economic growth from environmental degradation

.Reinforce scientific research, encouraging innovation to enhance technological capabilities

.Achieve sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources
